Frequent Questions

1. How do I qualify for participation in The SunWise Program?

At this time, SunWise can only accept registrations from K-8 educators who are currently working in elementary or middle schools in the United States. Those who do not fall into this category (i.e., girl/boy scouts, student teachers, teacher trainers, home schools, camp counselors, preschool/high school teachers, educators in other countries, etc.), may contact us, and we will gladly provide you with appropriate SunWise materials.

If you teach students with learning disabilities who are at a K-8 learning level, you are eligible for registration with The SunWise Program. However, before registering for the program, we suggest that you review the lesson plans. If you feel they are appropriate, please go ahead and register -- www.epa.gov/sunwise/join.
