March 2004 -- The next issue of The SunWise Monitor (biannual program update - 8 pages - PDF format, 556KB) is now available. This issue contains information on new initiatives, current partnerships, additional sun safety activities, and more.

SunWise in The Weather Channel's Forecast Earth Segment

September 2003 -- Several video segments were created recently through a partnership between EPA and The Weather Channel, one of which contains information on SunWise and the health effects of overexposure to UV radiation. This segment aired on The Weather Channel cable network as part of their new Forecast Earth series. Click here to download the video segment.

SunWise Receives "Excellence in Cancer Awareness" Award

September 2003 -- The Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation has given the SunWise Program their "Excellence in Cancer Awareness" Award for their successful partnership with the SHADE Foundation. The award honors corporate leaders, athletes, and organizations who are dedicated to cancer prevention and early detection.
