10/07/04 -   2005 Models Now Posted

The 2005 models, including cars, SUVs, pickups, and vans, are now available. You will find more vehicles with higher emission scores this year because of EPA's strict emission standards. This year, 50 percent of a manufacturer's cars and small trucks must comply with these standards (Last year, the number was 25%, and next year, it will be 100%). More information about these standards can be found at http://www.epa.gov/tier2.

08/05/04 -   First Hybrid SUV Certified By EPA

EPA recently certified the 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid SUV - the first hybrid SUV to be sold in the U.S. We will be listing this vehicle on the Green Vehicle Guide along with all other 2005 models in October, 2004.
