NALC Update
NOTICE: Effective May 2001, improvements have been made to 33 NALC Triplicates covering the Mid-Atlantic Integrated Assessment (MAIA) study area, which covers portions of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina. These updates were made to reduce or eliminate data gaps, data anomalies, haze, and clouds from the scenes comprising each triplicate. The NALC project is a cooperative effort with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and new images were selected by EPA to replace or add scenes in existing triplicates. In some cases, the MSS scenes were removed, terrain corrected, and added back into the triplicate.
