The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) is committed to advancing the vision of healthy, affordable, ethical, long-term care for America. The Association represents 5,600 mission-driven, not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and senior housing facilities, and community service organizations, every day. AAHSA’s members serve one million older persons across the country.

Materials published by the Association include publications on ethics, boards, development, a continuing care retirement community directory, as well as free brochures for persons wanting information about housing options for the aging and reviews of issues affecting services for the aging. Serial publications include "Currents" containing monthly information on legislative, regulatory activities. Also includes information about other association activities, job marts, trends in long-term care, housing services, and periodic updates on other AAHSA programs. Washington Report--provides biweekly summaries of AAHSA public policy activities.
