Region 4 Pesticides Section Emphasis and ContactsEPA's Region 4 Pesticides Section operates within the context of the
overall regional office structure in Region
4's Pesticides and Toxic Substances Branch within the Air, Pesticides
and Toxics Management Division. Some of the Pesticides Section's particular
areas of emphasis include: Strategic Agricultural Initiative; Enforcement;
School Integrated Pest Management; Pesticide Imports; Prevention of
Misuse; and, State Cooperative Agreements. Questions concerning specific state issues such as the requirements for sale and use of pesticides within a particular state should be directed to the State Lead Agency (SLA) for pesticide control.
