"Enforcement Alert" Newsletter

The documents listed below are the Year 2003 Editions of the "Enforcement Alert" Newsletter. They are available in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) format. Adobe Acrobat Reader may be secured through the link near the bottom of the page.

"Enforcement Alert" is intended to inform and educate the public and regulated community of important environmental enforcement issues, recent trends, and significant enforcement actions. The information contained in each issue should help the regulated community anticipate and prevent violations of federal environmental laws and applicable regulations that could otherwise lead to enforcement action.

In addition to highlighting important issues, trends, and enforcement actions, each issue provides the reader with links to useful EPA and other relevant Web sites to learn more about the issue, laws, and regulations addressed.

We hope you will find "Enforcement Alert" informative and useful. Please submit any comments or suggestions to Samantha Diesenhouse, Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance at diesenhouse.samantha @epa.gov.

If you would like to receive notification of the release of new "Enforcement Alert" Newsletters via e-mail as they are released, please subscribe to the Civil Enforcement Listserver which also provides notification of other Civil Enforcement releases.
