Formula Grants

Ideas That Work

OSEP provides funds to states through its IDEA formula grant programs, (Part B, Sections 611 and 619), to assist them in providing a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment for children with disabilities ages 3 through 21 and early intervention services (Part C) for infants and toddlers birth through age two and their families.

The Department of Education State Allocation Tables by program and by state show recent and estimated allocations under formula-allocated and selected students aid programs.

The OSERS FY 2005 Education Budget Summary provides program information and detailed budget tables showing the effect of the FY 2005 Budget on the OSERS programs and activities. The Department-wide FY 2005 Education Budget Summary is also available.
