Partnerships and Medicare Education
National Medicare Training Workshop Information and Registration
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, (CMS) National Medicare Training team is conducting Medicare training workshops for national partners and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) awardees. The workshops are divided into three sessions and will be one and a half days long. Except for CBO awardees, who must register for Medicare Basics and Medicare Updates, you may register for all three sessions or any combination.
Registration for each workshop is limited. You will be asked to specify which sessions you plan to attend. We will provide the same training at each location, so please choose only one location. Workshop Agenda:
| Day 1 - 9:00AM - NOON | Medicare Basics - This session covers basic Medicare program information and includes information on eligibility, enrollment, and rights and protections. This session is open to all and mandatory for Community-Based Organization awardees. |
| Day 1 - 1:00PM - 5:00PM | Medicare Updates - This session covers the Drug Discount Card, how to enroll in the Card, and other Medicare Modernization provisions. This session is open to all and mandatory for Community-Based Organization awardees. |
| Day 2 - 9:00AM - 1:00PM | Medicare Program Details - This session covers Coordination of Benefits, Medicare Entitlement due to ESRD or Disability, and Medigap. This session is open to all. |
