The Site Guide provides the
general layout of this Web site, with a brief explanation of the main
sections.
The Work Site was designed to be audience based. This means the site was divided into five main sections providing information for a specific type of audience. You will notice there are some cross-links from one main section to another, this shows where there is information in another section that may be beneficial to users of the originating section. The left hand side of the page provides links to: Youth With Disabilities - This section is dedicated to youth with disabilities and contains information helpful to youths, their parents and families, teachers and counselors. Employers - This section provides information about employing people with disabilities. Employers can find information concerning the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), tax incentives, theTicket to Hire program, and helpful links to other relative web sites. Beneficiaries - This section provides information for Social Security disability beneficiaries, their families and caregivers. A Social Security disability beneficiary is anyone who receives Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments because of disability or blindness. Specifically, this section contains information on work incentives for beneficiaries, Medicare, Medicaid, employment resources, rehabilitation programs, and the Ticket to Work program. Service Providers - This section contains information for service providers. There is information about SSA`s vocational rehabilitation programs and listings of service providers under contract to SSA. Advocates - This section provides information which can help advocates assist people with disabilities who want to work. About Us - This section contains a description of the Office of Employment Support Programs (OESP). What`s New - The latest news on proposed policy changes, upcoming events, and other initiatives. The content changes regularly so be sure to check back often, specifically for the latest information about the Ticket to Work program. The Work Site Questions and Help - This section has links to frequently asked questions and information on how to contact SSA. The Work Site Search - Two links are provided. The first leads to the overall SSA Web site search engine. The second leads to the Work Site Index, providing a detailed outline of the site`s contents and links. Resources Toolkit - A range of links leading to resources that pertains to more than one audience. Ticket to Work - This section of the web site contains links to information on the Ticket to Work Program and the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Advisory Panel.
