MPIN Information
The Marketing Partner ID (MPIN) is a personal code that your company creates in CCR. The MPIN must have 9 digits containing at least one alpha character, one number and no spaces or special characters.

CCR will provide guidance for creating an MPIN. Call 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-4725. You can also email to bpnsesupport@dlis.dla.mil. THE NBC DOES NOT PROVIDE MPIN INFORMATION.

Your company's CCR Point of Contact (POC) should be able to provide you with your company's MPIN. If your company does not have a CCR MPIN, your CCR POC may create one at the CCR website. Please note that although we receive data updates from CCR on a daily basis, there may be a delay of up to 48 hours before the information becomes available on the IDEAS-EC website.

CCR Registration
Vendors must register at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website (www.ccr.gov) and maintain an "active" CCR registration in order to have access to the IDEAS-EC website. Vendors who do not have a completed CCR registration are ineligible to access the IDEAS-EC website. Active CCR registrations are downloaded on a daily basis, however, there is a delay of 24-48 hours before the updated CCR information becomes available on the IDEAS-EC website.

Your Company's DUNS Number
The Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number is a unique nine character identification number provided by the commercial company Dun and Bradstreet. Call Dun and Bradstreet at 866-705-5711or visit their website (www.dnb.com) if you do not have a DUNS number. The process to request a DUNS number takes about 10 minutes and is free of charge.

When do I need to sign in?
In order to submit a quote, view a directed document, subscribe to a particular Bidder's Mailing List or receive an award via IDEAS Electronic Commerce, you must maintain an "active" registration on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website (www.ccr.gov).

How to sign in?
In order to sign in, you must have a DUNS number and MPIN. The Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and Marketing Partner ID (MPIN) can be obtained from your CCR point of contact.

Temporary MPIN?
An MPIN is mandatory for the IDEAS-EC website. You can utilize your old password or TIN/SSN that your company provided to CCR as the temporary MPIN. However, this temporary MPIN will expire in 7 calendar days.
