The purpose
of the AETC program is to improve the care of people living with
HIV/AIDS by supporting clinical consultation, education, and training
for health clinicians serving this population. Services are provided
through a national network of 11
Regional Centers (and more than 70 associated sites) that train
health care providers to treat persons with HIV/AIDS. Several national,
cross-cutting components of the AETCs program support and complement
the regional training centers.
