  Question
What are the hardware and browser requirements for accessing American FactFinder?
  Answer

Hardware and browser requirements for accessing American FactFinder:

  • Display resolution of 800 x 600 or higher.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or 6.0, or Netscape version 6.2 or 7.1, or equivalent.
  • Browser set to accept session cookies.
  • Browser with JavaScript and style sheets enabled.

NOTE: Pop-up blocking software may interfere with retrieving data from American FactFinder. Problems with maps, downloads, PDF's not opening, and other features not working as expected may be due to pop-up blocking software. We suggest that you temporarily disable any pop-up blocker software running on your computer, or add factfinder.census.gov to the list of sites where pop-ups are allowed.
