The Glennallen Field Office is responsible for the management of approximately 7.3 million acres of land in southern Alaska. The Field Office boundaries encompass nearly 30 million acres and include land administered by the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service, as well as lands conveyed to the State of Alaska, Native corporations, and other private landowners. Features include the southernmost section of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System, the scenic Denali Highway, two components of the National Wild & Scenic River system, and the Bering Glacier (North America's largest). | ![]() |
