The Bureau of Land Management, Glennallen Field Office, is preparing an East Alaska Resource Management Plan (EARMP) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to address BLM’s management of the public land located in portions of eastern Alaska. The East Alaska Resource Management Plan will provide guidance and direction for BLM-managed lands for the next 10-15 years.

Public comments will be used to develop a preferred alternative, which will be analyzed in a draft environmental impact statement. the draft EIS should be available for review by the end of December 2004.
