White Mountains Whitened

New snow is blanketing the White Mountains National Recreation Area, partly blackened during the busy 2004 wildfire season. The Boundary Fire destroyed the Crowberry Cabin, but plans are underway to replace it next summer. The other public use cabins and 250 miles of winter trails survived the fires intact and are ready for use. For an updated list of current trail conditions, click here.
