Jobs for Students

Students are encouraged to seek employment in the Federal Government. The following are two resources about Federal jobs for students.

Studentjobs.gov is a website that provides applicants with comprehensive information about Federal jobs and internships for students with or without disabilities. The site provides instructions for creating job applications, and contains online tools for the job search, information about job benefits, and background information on many Federal agencies.

Workforce Recruitment Program. Coordinated by the Office of Disability Employment Policy and the U.S. Department of Defense, the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) aims to provide summer work experience, and in some cases, permanent employment for college students and recent graduates with disabilities. The program partners with other Federal agencies, each of which makes a commitment to provide summer jobs.
