Product Distribution
Provides receipt, storage and distribution of customer-owned
stock and issues forms, letterhead, envelopes, memorandum stationery,
and publications. Provides inventory control and management services,
and operates an integrated, internal shipping and handling service to
move printed items that minimize customer paid shipping costs. Accepts
new receipts and reports statistical data to customers as required on
inventory status, storage space utilization and fees, products utilization,
postage/distribution costs, and customer demand history. A website, http://propshop.psc.gov
is available 24/7 to order products electronically.
Performance Standards:
100% of orders will be picked up and shipped within 3 working days; premium
or overnight service requests will be picked up and shipped the same day
received with sufficient time to arrange express delivery service; expedited
jobs will be acted on immediately, but are subject to an expedite surcharge
of a percentage of the standard hourly rate accrued for the time to complete
the request.
