OCSE INTERGOVERNMENTAL REFERRAL GUIDE SYSTEM

Welcome to the OCSE Intergovernmental Referral Guide (IRG) System. OCSE maintains the IRG to assist State IV-D agencies in processing interstate child support enforcement cases. OCSE and the National Child Support Enforcement Association have cooperated to provide the information in this guide.

The IRG contains the following information:

State-at-a-Glance: The State Profile System contains a high-level profile of each State's child support enforcement program, including information on the State's general program; UIFSA; reciprocity; age of majority; statute of limitations; income withholding; paternity establishment, enforcement, and modification; and review/adjustment.

Addresses and FIPS Codes: This list contains contact information at the County and State levels, including names, addresses, telephone numbers, and, when available, FAX numbers and e-mail addresses. This list also includes State and local FIPS Codes, OCSE Central and Regional contact information, International Reciprocity addresses, and International FIPS Codes.

The IRG has both viewing and updating functionality. State IV-D child support enforcement staff may view the IRG, as well as download and print the State profiles and the address and FIPS Code lists. In addition, each State and each OCSE office has given several persons authorization to update the IRG. These persons may edit and update their respective sections of the IRG to ensure the information in the IRG is current. You will see the Date of Last Update when you view the profiles and addresses.

You will be prompted for a valid User Name and Password when you first enter the IRG. This User Name and Password will give you the appropriate view or update access to the system.
