Secretary's Small Business Awards Program

The Secretary of Energy has issued a Policy in support of small businesses that directs all departmental elements to examine and expand their grant and contract opportunities with the small business community. Consistent with the Secretary's Small Business Policy, the Department of Energy's Small Business Awards program has been established to recognize outstanding performance by departmental elements and facility management contractors on an annual basis.

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Untilization (OSDBU) hosts the Secretarial Small Business Awards program.

Award presentations are made at a special awards ceremony, to be held at the U.S. Department of Energy's Forrestal Building, 1000 Independence Avenue S.W., Washington D.C. 20585.
