Andrew Bush
Director, Office of Family Assistance |
Andrew Bush is Director of the Office of Family Assistance in the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to joining the Bush administration, he was executive deputy administrator of the Human Resources Administration, City of New York, from 1998 to July 2001. He was director of the Welfare Policy Center at the Hudson Institute, 1994-98. Bush also worked for seven years on Capitol Hill, serving as a professional staff member on the House Ways and Means Committee and a legislative assistant to Sen. Pete V. Domenici, R-New Mexico. He holds a masters degree in public policy studies from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. |
