Head Start and Early Head Start

Program Overview

Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs which serve children from birth to age 5, pregnant women, and their families. Head Start programs emphasize school readiness, comprehensive health screening, parent involvement, and leveraging existing social services.

Local Services

Head Start services in Region 10 are funded by the Seattle Regional Office, and administered by local organizations. Click on your state to find a Grantee near you.

American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) and Migrant Services

AI/AN and Migrant Head Start are funded by the Head Start Bureau in Washington, D.C. To locate Grantees in your area, please use the Bureau's search engine.
