All fees are payable in cash; U.S. dollars or Colombian pesos. The Embassy does not accept checks, credit cards, nor US$100 bills.

Passport and citizenship services

• Renewal:

  • Applicants age 16 or over .............................. US$55.00

  • Applicants under age 16 ................................ US$70.00

  
  
• First time issuance or replacement for lost/stolen passport:

  • Applicants age 16 or over .............................. US$85.00

  • Applicants under age 16  ............................... US$70.00

• Consular report of birth abroad (CRBA) is required of all first-time
   passport applicants under age 18 who are born overseas ............. US$65.00
  

• Search and verification of U.S. citizenship records when applicant
   has not presented evidence of citizenship, and previous records must
   be searched.  This fee will not be charged when the applicant's
   passport was lost or stolen.) ...................................... US$45.00
  

• Passport amendments:  To add current or new information, change a name,
   extend a previous passport time limitation, correct an administrative
   error, validate a passport for travel to restricted countries, or
   add extra pages .................................................... No fee
