OVERVIEW
FOCUS on Federal Employee Health
and Assistance Programs is an
8-16 page quarterly newsletter. Program staff and managers turn to FOCUS
to learn about current initiatives in the area of policy, training
opportunities, free and low-cost resources to enhance program activities,
and to learn about their peers' successful program approaches and ideas.
Topics that are featured relate to emerging policies, significant
developments, successful practices and resources available in the following
program areas:
- employee assistance;
- employee health;
- work life;
- workplace trauma;
- violence in the workplace;
- HIV/AIDS in the workplace; and
- drug-free Federal workplace.

Regular mailings of FOCUS
require a subscription through the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO).
Federal employees can contact their agency's headquarters printing office
for more about ordering through the OPM Rider, which saves about 50% on the
regular subscription price of $11.00 per year.
