www.childcare.gov, sponsored by the Interagency Federal Child Care Council and the General Services Administration Office of Child Care , is a one-stop web site to federal resources that support children in child care.
We invite our partners and other responsible intermediaries and individuals on the Internet to link to www.childcare.gov to promote our goal. The goal of www.childcare.gov is to enable Federal agencies to consolidate access to information about Federal resources, programs and best practices to support child care in a "one-stop" location making it easier for State and local governments, child care providers, parents and kids to locate pertinent Federal information. The www.childcare.gov button must be linked to www.childcare.gov. The link must be active.
The intent of encouraging the use of the www.childcare.gov button and www.childcare.gov postcard is not to be construed as promoting or endorsing the web sites, corporations, or outside government agencies that chose to include these items on their web sites, since federal law prohibits the government from doing so.
