Top Stories14th National Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect
It is not too late to register for the 14th National Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect, taking place March 31 through April 5 in St. Louis, Missouri. This year's theme, Gateways to Prevention, focuses on developing new ways to prevent child maltreatment and considering a range of strategies to protect children and support families and communities. Prevent Child Abuse Missouri is this year's local host agency. The Children's Bureau and its national co-sponsors are committed to featuring the best speakers the field has to offer, from new voices to speakers long recognized for their contributions. More than 200 sessions will be offered throughout the conference, addressing current issues and promising practices. Sessions fall into six learning clusters:
