SEC v. New Times Securities Services, Inc, New Age Financial Securities, Inc. and William Goren

March 2001

On February 17, 2000, the SEC filed an action against New Times Securities Services, Inc., a registered broker-dealer, New Age Financial Services, Inc., a financial planning firm, and their principal, William Goren. The SEC alleged that Goren defrauded hundreds of investors of more than $35 million by perpetrating a Ponzi scheme.

The Court appointed James W. Giddens as SIPC trustee for the liquidation of New Times Securities Services. The trustee has set up a website for investors that provides information about the liquidation of New Times and how you can contact the Trustee.
