As of February 1, 1999, the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) Electronic Clearing House Operation (ECHO) System, a mission critical system, was certified Y2K compliant. ActioNet Inc. performed the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing and certified ECHO Y2K compliant. What this means is that all software and hardware used by FTA's ECHO system has been tested by both our ECHO system staff and an independent contracting staff to ensure that FTA's ECHO system will be able to conduct business well into the year 2000 and beyond.
