FURTHER CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003
Committee on Rules:
Granted, by voice vote, a closed rule providing 1 hour of debate in the House on H.J. Res. 13, making further continuing appropriations for the fiscal year 2003. The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the joint resolution. The rule provides one motion to recommit. Finally, the rule provides that Section 2 of the resolution provides that upon receipt of a message from the Senate transmitting H.J. Res. 2 with a Senate amendment thereto, it shall be in order to consider in the House a motion offered by the chairman of the Committee on Appropriations or his designee that the House disagree to the Senate amendment and request or agree to a conference with the Senate thereon.
Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation:
to hold hearings to examine to discuss recent allegations of ethical violations at the United States Olympic Committee, and examine the management of the organization, 2:30 p.m., SR-253.
Committee on Finance:
