The Salmon Falls Dam, built in 1910 to provide water for irrigation to farms, creates a reservoir that provides an important source of recreation in this area. Anglers will find plenty of fish in these waters, including brown trout, chinook and kokanee salmon, yellow perch, black crappie, channel catfish, smallmouth bass, and walleye. Ice fishing is available in January and February. Day use and overnight facilities, including picnic tables and Recreational Vehicle camp sites, are available at nearby Lud Drexler Park. Developed recreation sites along the reservoir can also be found at Greys Landing, Norton Bay, and Whiskey Slough. Located 22 miles south of Twin Falls.
