Questionnaire for Non-Hague Convention Parents

Your situation is difficult, but there are things that you can do. This list assumes that you know, or strongly suspect, that your child has been abducted abroad to a country that is not a party to the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction. If the country is a party to the Hague Convention, read this booklet to determine if your situation meets the requirements of the Convention.

The Office of Children's Issues is prepared to assist you as you pursue recovery of your abducted child. Because it can be a bewildering experience, we are here to assist you, whether your child was abducted to a country that is a member of the Hague Abduction Convention or to a non-Hague country.
