Professional Development Opportunities

Within the U.S., the Educational Information and Resources Branch (ECA/A/S/A) works with partner organizations such as NAFSA: Association of International Educators to strengthen the services that support international students and scholars on U.S. campuses. These efforts include professional development and training for foreign student advisers, admissions personnel, and other staff at U.S. universities and colleges, through

Through the Cooperative Grants program, we provide funding for projects to enhance the experience of international and study abroad students. We support activities that help build mutual understanding through the exchange of people and ideas. Programs assist international activities of the U.S. academic community, including study abroad and recruitment of foreign students.
