You may direct your technical and procedural questions concerning retirement plans to us in a variety of ways. Answers to many of your questions may already be available under Frequently Asked Questions about Retirement Plans. If you do not find the answer to your question, please call, write or email us.

The following issues are handled by EP Customer Account Services:

  • Qualified plans under IRC 401(a), such as Profit Sharing Plans, Money Purchase Plans, Defined Benefit Plans, Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs), Cash Balance Plans and Target Benefit Plans.
  • Other employer sponsored plans, such as SIMPLE-IRAs, SEP-IRAs and Tax Sheltered Annuities (403(b) Plans).
  • Applications for a Determination Letter for an Employee Benefit Plan
    (Forms 5300, 5303, 5307, 5310 and 6406).
  • Annual Returns for an Employee Benefit Plan (Forms 5500 and 5500-EZ).
  • Excise taxes related to Employee Benefit Plans (Form 5330).
  • Unrelated Business Income generated by the trust of a plan (Form 990-T).
  • Various laws which impact employee plans, such as EGTRRA, GUST and CRA.
