Information Quality Guidelines
Welcome to the Bureau of Reclamation website for information quality guidelines. This site is intended to meet the requirements of Section 515 of the Treasury and General Government Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2001 (Public Law 106-554) for Federal agencies to publish Information Quality guidelines for ensuring and maximizing the quality, objectivity, utility and integrity of information (including statistical information) disseminated by a Federal agency, and to provide administrative mechanisms allowing the public to seek and obtain correction maintained and disseminated by the agency.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has published its final
guidelines in the Federal Register on February 22, 2002. The
Department of the Interior's (DOI) guidelines are also
available.
Submitting Comments
Requests for corrections should be submitted through the Administrative Process as established in the
Guidelines.
