    Prostate Cancer

    A research study is underway to test the effectiveness of a medication for patients with hormone refractory prostate cancer (HRPC). These are people who have failed first line cytotoxic chemotherapy.

    Volunteers age 18 or older who have stage D2 metastatic prostate cancer that has progressed after one prior chemotherapy may be eligible to participate.

    Research sites are located throughout the United States and at other international locations.

    Angina

    Researchers are developing a new drug to treat unstable angina.

    Volunteers 18 to 80 years of age who have been hospitalized for unstable angina and who have diabetes may be eligible to participate.

    The research site is in New Hyde Park, N.Y.

    Rheumatoid Arthritis

    A research study is underway to test a medication for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

    Individuals 18 to 75 years old who have had active rheumatoid arthritis may be eligible to participate. They must have had the disease for a least six months and are currently being treated with methotrexate once weekly. The treatments must have been continuous for at least four months.

    The research site is in Kalamazoo, Mich.
