    Crohn's Disease

    A research study is underway to test the effectiveness of a medication for patients taking corticosteroids for active Crohn's disease.

    Volunteers at least 18 years old who have active Crohn's disease, are corticosteroid dependent and have at least one documented failed attempt at corticosteroid withdrawal may be eligible to participate.

    The research sites are located throughout the United States and Canada.

    Parkinson's Disease

    Research is underway to test the effectiveness of a new formulation of a marketed drug in increasing time to onset of dyskinesia (abnormal twisting, writhing movements) in Parkinson's disease patients who are currently being treated with Levodopa.

    Volunteers between the ages of 30 and 70 who have been taking Levodopa for two years or less and are currently experiencing mild wearing off symptoms or simple on-off fluctuations with their current L-dopa therapy may be eligible to participate.

    The research site is in Albany, N.Y.

    Hypertension (High Blood Pressure - Pediatric)

    A research study is underway for patients age 6-16 who have mild-to-moderate hypertension that is either diagnosed and untreated or previously diagnosed and currently treated.

    The research site is in Madera, Calif.
