USDA ANNOUNCES $60 MILLION SUGAR BEET DISASTER PROGRAM
USDA announces Sugar Beet Disaster Program sign-up to begin Sept. 15, 2003. Up to $60 million is authorized under the Agricultural Assistance Act of 2003 to assist producers who suffered sugar beet losses in either 2001 or 2002 due to a natural disaster.
