Description

This dot density map shows the general distribution of land in Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) contracts as of the 16th sign-up. Enrollment for the 16th sign-up was from October 14, 1997 through November 14, 1997 and contracts go into effect on October 1, 1998. Each dot represents 3,000 acres under CRP contract after the 16th sign-up. Dots are aggregated by and placed randomly within counties.
