Objective:
To identify chemicals of insect, plant, or other origins that affect insect behavior and reproduction.

Approach:
Biologically active chemicals that affect insect behavior and/or other reproduction, either directly, or indirectly by modifying the chemisty of plants, insects or other hosts, will be isolated, identified, snythesized (when necessary), and formulated for laboratory and field evaluations of efficacy and applicability.
