Objective:
Develop irradiation quarantine treatments against several phytosanitary pests for U.S. export market.

Approach:
Citrus rust mite (Eriophyidae), brown garden snail (Gastropoda), and one or more of the following Lepidoptera that pupate within the marketed part of the host plant: European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis) and species of Diatrea (crabidoides, grandiosella, saccharalis) will be irradiated with minimum absorbed doses that prevent reproduction of each species.
