Objective:
The objective of this cooperative research project is to collect populations of the cotton bollworm and tobacco budworm to be evaluated for resistance to Bt insecticides.

Approach:
At each of 20 sites in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia adult moths of the tobacco budworm and cotton bollworm will be collected and sent to USDA-ARS-SIMRU during the entire 2003 growing season.
