Objective:
To maintain and increase seed of B0984, B1870-3, B1870-17, B1816-5, B0766-3, B1240-1, and B1145-2. To put into tissue culture and rid of virus: B1752-5.

Approach:
Culture plantlets on various media to induce organogenesis and rooted plantlets. Apply ELISA tests to detect potential latent virus infections. Nodal cuttings will be used to increase plantlets and produce microtubers. Plantlets, microtubers, and minitubers will be planted in the field for seed increases of pathogen-free stocks of advanced clones for further evaluation.
