Objective:
To develop a bioactive coating consisting of antagonistic yeasts, and natural products that controls postharvest diseases of fruit.

Approach:
Various combinations of yeasts and natural products will be tested against postharvest decay of pome and citrus fruit. The best combinations will be formulated and tested under commercial conditions to control postharvest diseases of fruit. A product will be developed and registered from the best formulations.
