FY-2005 Conservation Program Allocations to States

This map shows the amounts distributed to Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) State offices for operating Farm Bill conservation programs in fiscal year 2005.

The programs were reauthorized in the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (Farm Bill). Through these programs, NRCS helps farmers, ranchers, and other landowners plan and implement conservation measures to solve natural resource concerns on their operations, maintain and improve agricultural land, and protect the environment.
