Objective:
Screen grape berries for resistance to postharvest gray mold, determine attributes of selections associated with resistance, determine inheritance of resistance.

Approach:
Inoculate berries with pathogen spores, identify resistant vines, conduct morphological and biochemical analysis, assess inheritability by crossing resistant and susceptible lines. Documents trust with California Table Grape Commisssion. Log 18046. Formerly 5302-43000-029-04T (10/04).
