Objective:
Control the artichoke plume moth, powdery mildew and other insects, diseases and pests through biological and chemical means, resistant cultivars and cultural practices. Develop cultural procedures to optimize production.

Approach:
Develop synthetic diet, IPM procedures, pheromone techniques, monitoring procedures for managing plume moth reproduction and controlling activity. Test chemicals and cultural practices for control of powdery mildew. (Documents Trust Agreement with Artichoke Research Association). Formerly 5305-21000-010-03T (9/03)
