Objective:
To develop alternative methods for the delivery of musocal competitive exclusion (MCE) cultrues to young broiler chickens, and to support studies to gain FDA approval of this patented and licensed technology.

Approach:
Development of new technologies such as alternative spray methods or soft gels or encapsulation which can be utilized to deliver MCE in the hatchery; and assisting Wayne Farms in completion of commercial field trials to validate efficacy of Mucosal Starter Culture (MSC, the commercial form of MCE).
