The NAWQA National Liaison Committee is providing advice and council to the NAWQA program on questions and needs surrounding some of the most pressing water-quality issues today. Currently, the Liaison Committee is providing insight on the issue of urban sprawl and possible impacts on water-quality and implications for water supply. Insights provided are from a wide perspective audience including trade associations and manufacturing concerns, to environmental and conservation organizations. Without this forum, the NAWQA Program would not be able to efficiently obtain valuable perspectives from our diverse audience for sound scientific information on water quality conditions.
