Administration Branch Mission & Functions
Mission
Provides logistic and administrative services and support to the Program Management Office (PMO) with the resources and flexibility to conduct and carry out unusual or ad hoc assignments.
Functions

  • Performs administrative support functions for the office including personnel management, time and attendance reporting, internal operating budget (small office supply purchases), property accountability, and security (key control, suite access).
  • Serves as both the civilian and military personnel office liaison in providing direction and guidance on civilian personnel procedures, including promotions, recruitment, transfers, evaluations, and training.
  • Responsible for preparing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) pertaining to the interface between PMO-DTS and the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC).
  • Develops, formulates, and coordinates administrative policies and procedures for PMO (Office Procedure Manual).
  • Responsible for receiving, processing and routing all PMO-DTS incoming mail, and receiving, processing and dispatching all outgoing official mail. Maintains correspondence control systems and logs as well as related policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for providing a central control point for receipt, dispatch, accountability, and disposition of secret and special category communications and documentation.
  • Provides administrative support to the following branches: Plans & Programs, Fielding, Operations, Development, Business Processes, and Test & Integration.
  • Facilitates and supports special events as necessary; manages special events as assigned.
  • Provides guidance for and coordinates matters relating to courier service, visitor control, and office services, including office repairs, improvements, moving schedules, equipment and furniture procurement, and telephone services.
  • Performs special assignments, conducts studies, and compiles special reports as required and responds to requests from higher headquarters.
  • Serves as the single point of contact for scheduling the conference room and training laboratory. Additionally, request for appointments for the Program Director should be routed through Admin.
