The Climate Prediction Center produces educational materials to help people better understand the role of the climate system in our lives and how to use climate forecasts.

  • The ENSO Cycle: A Tutorial - A technical discussion for the layperson on climate variability and the El Niņo-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and how sea surface temperatures and atmospheric conditions in the Tropical Pacific affect North American weather patterns.

  • Fact Sheets and Monographs - Various written and graphical materials to help the public better understand the climate system and how climate patterns in far off places affect our weather patterns.
